Over the weekend, BWW reported that Clint Eastwood's Jersey Boys film, which opened in nearly 3,000 theaters, was projected to gross between $14.5 and $13.5 million over the weeekend. Today, Deadline.com confirms that the film has taken in a disappointing $13.5M for Warner Bros. performing even worse than expected.
Though the film performed poorly at the box office, the music featured in the movie lives on! According to Showbiz411, Valli's music is more popular than ever on Amazon.com, with "The Very Best of Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons" in the #1 spot and the soundtrack at #4. On iTunes, the albums hold the #15 and #48 spots respectively.
