Worldwide pop superstar Lady Gaga pays homage to another famous theatrical leading lady, none other than Eliza Doolittle of MY FAIR LADY fame, in a glamorous new social media shot shared earlier this week.

Gaga flaunts a billowy frock and Audrey Hepburn-esque glasses while admiring a king's ransom of jewelry in a new image posted to her Facebook account.

Commenting, Gaga captioned the pic, "Serving some Eliza Doolittle realness. My life is cinema."

Of note, MY FAIR LADY was shown on TCM this weekend, as well, which could very likely have formed the basis for this artistic flight of fancy.

Inspired by this idea, would you like to see Lady Gaga take on the title role in the cherished Alan Jay Lerner, Frederick Loewe and Moss Hart musical onstage or onscreen someday soon?
