The Waukesha Civic Theatre will display the work of Jean D. Sobon from October 6 ? November 16, 2015 in the Waukesha State Bank Art Gallery.

Jean D. Sobon holds BS and MS degrees in Art Education from UWM. She taught art in the public schools of Whitefish Bay and Germantown, WI from 1976 to 2003 when she retired to focus on her artwork. Jean is a longtime exhibiting and award-winning member of the Milwaukee Area Teachers of Art, and is a past President and past newsletter editor. She is an exhibiting member of Wisconsin Visual Artists SE Chapter (formerly Wisconsin Painters and Sculptors). She is also an exhibiting member of Walker's Point Center for the Arts, the Museum of Wisconsin Art (MOWA) and a past member artist of THE Fine Art Gallery, LLC. Her artwork is represented in private and corporate collections in the United States.

The Waukesha State Bank Art Gallery is located in the Margaret Brate Bryant Civic Theatre building, 264 W. Main Street, downtown Waukesha. The Waukesha Civic Theatre Box Office and Art Gallery are open from Noon - 5:00 pm Tuesday - Friday, and will be open two hours prior to weekend performances of The ACAP PlayMakers? Show Of Shows II! and The Turn Of The Screw.
