According to an announcement made by creators Scott Thompson and Fred Barton, ONE FOR MY BABY- a new musical featuring the music of Harold Arlen, is looking to present a full workshop production in New York City. With the help of Kickstarter.com, the show is seeking financial help to make the production a reality.

Thompson and Barton write: 'We've had great response to the show from numerous major Broadway producers who have hailed the concept, praising the script and calling the work "extremely commercial." A legion of them will attend the presentation of ONE FOR MY BABY.'

They added: 'The average cost of a workshop production runs to $250,000. We're thrilled to announce that for an unprecedented figure of under $100,000, we will produce a FULL PRESENTATION, including choreography, musicians, and a FULL CAST, including major Broadway headliners. The workshop will be co-produced by the One For My Baby LLC, and The Broadway Musicals Company, a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation.'
