Experience Melodrama, Horror & Thrills in New, Immersive NYC Theater Show

8Players is a new, custom, "socially adventurous" group experience, promising pop-up immersive theater in New York City.

The official description reads: "Connect with like-minded New Yorkers in a way you've never experienced. Shed your skin and step into a customized immersive night in which plots unfurl and secrets are kept. 8Players is a trip out of reality custom-built for every group who enters. As each 8Players approaches, the production is tailored to each audience member. Arrive at an undisclosed location and be inducted into a scenario starring you and an intimate few strangers. Revel in a heightened cinematic narrative and lose your inhibitions. With only space for 8 audience-participants ("players"), embark on a socially adventurous night out. Players are encouraged to come as singles or pairs only."

There are several genre adventures to choose from, including "Girls Boarding School Melodrama", "'90s Teen Horror", and "'80s Erotic Thriller", running December 5, 2015 - January 20, 2016. There is a waitlist, so we assume more dates will be added to the run.

8Players is alumni of award-winning immersive theater, live events, and films. They aim to bring a high volume of original social experiences to a vast range of venues: homes, bars, restaurants, hotels, lots, unused spaces. They cater to creatives, partygoers, and the adventurous.
