Who: Patti Murin, whom you may know from her critically acclaimed performance in Broadway's Lysistrata Jones, her live tweets during The Bachelorette, as the only Glinda that Hawaii has ever seen, or for her capability to play characters that are literally half her age.

What: Don't let that ingénue face fool you - this girl's got steel pipes and the mouth of a sailor. One of Broadway's most appealing leading ladies, Patti Murin has starred in Wicked, Lysistrata Jones, Xanadu, Love's Labour's Lost, Emma, and, most recently, Fly By Night. Now she is bringing her signature vocal sound and sharp comedic timing to 54 Below. For her solo show debut, Patti will forgo the safety of standards to perform songs (almost) exclusively from the new musicals in which she has originated a role. It will literally be one of the best nights of your (her) life.

Where: 54 Below, Broadway's Supper Club (254 West 54th Street)

When: Monday, August 11th at 7 PM. Don't be late 'cause then Tony Yazbeck will have to start his show late. And 'cause waiting makes her nervous.

Why: This is getting a little personal. But if you come to the show, Patti might just spill some secrets during her witty banter between songs!

Who Else: Patti will be joined by Michael Holland (Godspell, You're Gonna Hate This, Horizon), who serves as music director, arranger, and pianist/guitarist/therapist extraordinaire. On bass is Dan "The Man, Literally" Fabricatore, and on drums is DJ Jazzy Jeff Roberts. Special guest star is Broadway's Jason Tam, who is currently starring in If/Then and will probably be embarrassed if Patti were to profess her undying (platonic, she has a boyfriend) love for him in this press release. Oops.

How: Go to http://54below.com/august/ and buy tickets online, or by calling (646) 476-3551. Cover charge ranges from $25-50, with a $25 food and beverage minimum. Seriously, do it now. Like, literally.

MORE ABOUT 54 BELOW

54 BELOW, Broadway's Supper Club, is the new performance venue in the grand tradition of New York City nightlife. A few blocks from the heart of Times Square and just below the legendary Studio 54, 54 BELOW is a classically designed state-of-the art nightclub in the theatre district that hosts audiences with warmth and style. The venue provides a food and beverage menu from early evening through the wee hours of the morning that is worthy of the world-class entertainment on the stage. In their description of 54 BELOW, The New York Times writes "the club has the intimacy of a large living room with unimpeded views and impeccable sound; there is not a bad seat. Its sultry after-hours ambience is enhanced by brocade-patterned wall panels planted with orange-shaded lanterns. And the atmosphere is warmer and sexier than in Manhattan's other major supper clubs." Located at 254 West 54th Street, 54 BELOW features up to three shows nightly with cover charges ranging from $15-$95.
