SMILE : A Broadway Reunion Concert

The Broadway musical cult favorite SMILE, by Howard Ashman and Marvin Hamlisch, returns to New York for a one-night-only reunion concert performance! SMILE opened on the Great White Way in 1986, and closed after 48 performances. The musical follows the intrigue and exploits onstage and behind-the-scenes as Santa Rosa, California plays host to the Young American Miss Pageant. With a bright, brassy, exciting score that includes "Disneyland," "Shine," "Young And American," "Until Tomorrow Night," and many more Hamlisch/Ashman treasures, SMILE is one of the greatest underappreciated Broadway musicals of the 1980s.

After having his show PICTURE PERFECT performed in New York, LA, London and Australia, he returns to the concert setting for the first time in over two years, to tell intimate stories of how certain songs came to be, as well showcase material from his new musical INDIGO.
