Broadway star and animal advocate Bernadette Peters will visit the NASDAQ MarketSite in Times Square to ring the Closing Bell in honor of Broadway Barks 16 tomorrow, July 11, 2014. Peters will be joined by Tom Viola, Executive Director of Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, as well as four puppies from Bide-A-Wee, one of Broadway Barks' participating shelters here in New York City at tomorrow's closing of the Nasdaq bell.

Broadway Barks, produced by Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, is an annual star-studded dog and cat adoption eventBernadette Peters co-founded with actress Mary Tyler Moore to help New York City's shelter animals find permanent homes.

Broadway Barks will take place on Saturday, July 12 in Shubert Alley, New York City from 3:00 - 6:30 p.m. ET.
