Someone once said: "It's May, it's May, the Lusty Month of May!" Another wise woman has also said "And you, and you, and you... you're gonna love MAAAAAAAY!" Who really said what? Hard to say, but it seems clear that May has a profound affect on folks in musical theatre.

It certainly did last week at Broadway Sessions as we celebrated our special May edition of our ALL OPEN MIC PARTY! Broadway vets, up and comers, fan girls and boys alike took the stage to share their talents. The result was nothing short of thrilling. Open Mic'ers each provided a list of "fun facts" that were discussed before their performances... proving, once again, that theater folks are the most fun and interesting and TALENTED. BROADWAY SESSIONS takes place every Thursday evening at The Laurie Beechman Theater inside The West Bank Cafe, located at 407 West 42nd Street (corner of 42nd Street and 9th Avenue).
