Dancing on the Edge Festival, Canada’s longest-running contemporary dance festival, returns for its 37th annual iteration from June 12 to 21, 2025, at the Firehall Arts Centre and SFU Woodward’s in Vancouver. The festival presents a diverse lineup featuring four world premieres and two Canadian premieres, showcasing both established choreographers like Lina Cruz and Noam Gagnon, alongside emerging artists such as Cai Glover and Juolin Lee. Attendees can expect a range of thought-provoking performances exploring themes of isolation, connection, and joy across multiple mixed programs and full-length works. Highlights include the world premiere of Lurch by MascallDance and the introspective short work Tunnel 9 from Fila 13 Productions.
