Every River Has a Mouth, guest curated by Snuneymuxw artist Eliot White-Hill, explores the identities and evolving cultural practices of the Coast and Interior Salish peoples. Open from February 14, 2026 to February 14, 2027 at the Bill Reid Gallery of Northwest Coast Art, the exhibition highlights the deep connections between these communities through works by 13 artists, including renowned figures such as Susan Point and Angela George. This showcase not only aims to celebrate Salish art but also contributes to a cultural resurgence in storytelling and artistic expression. Featured works include a large canoe by Luke and Ryza Marston and an installation by Sydney Pascal, emphasizing the significance of the Fraser River in Salish culture.
