A companhia Troupe anunciou o elenco completo para a estreia mundial da nova adaptação teatral de Simon Reade de Twenty Thousand Streets Under the Sky, de Patrick Hamilton. Michael Maloney (Ernest Eccles), Alex Bhat (George Perry) e Lucy Gray (Prunella/Senhora da Pensão/Empregada) juntam-se aos já anunciados Yanexi Enriquez (Jenny Maple), Rosalind Lailey (Ella Dawson) e Jordan Scowen (Bob). Baseada no clássico romance de Hamilton ambientado na Londres do final da década de 1920, a peça acompanha a vida de três solitários londrinos em sua busca por conexão e obsessão mútua.
A produção de Matthew Iliffe estreia no Southwark Playhouse Borough em 16 de setembro, com pré-estreias a partir de 10 de setembro, e segue em cartaz até 17 de outubro de 2026.

Ao mesmo tempo obscura e engraçada, é uma carta de amor à Londres da Era do Jazz dos anos 1920 em toda sua glória suja. Uma aclamada adaptação televisiva foi exibida na BBC Four em 2005, protagonizada por Sally Hawkins.
