SUBMIT UPDATES
For One Night Only on April 16th, Scarborough Players will have their exciting new, engaging and entertaining concept after the matinee performance of Tons of Money. Using suggestions gathered from the audience that very night, a team of improvisers will create from scratch an original one-act play.
There will be no time for writing so armed only with a few words and a title supplied by the audience they will have to make it up as they go along. What’s the story about? What style of play is it? Who are the characters? We have no idea! The only thing we know for sure is that it will take place on the set of the Players’ production of Tons of Money, in the home of a wealthy 1920s family. The rest is up to the performers and to you - the audience!
The Pop-Up Players feature some of your recent Players’ favourites. Along with special guests, they will create an unforgettable evening of comedy, drama and adventure. Come and watch them walk a tightrope of creation and performance as the play is "discovered." This story has never been seen before and will never be seen again - don’t miss your chance to see it unfold before your very eyes!
