Every year, since its creation 16 years ago, THE COLUMN Awards in Dallas, TX has donated to BROADWAY CARES/EQUITY FIGHTS AIDS. They hold the distinct honor of being the ONLY awards organization in the United States that uses their awards gala as a fundraiser for BC/EFA.

Theater fans, celebrities and industry insiders grabbed their seats at poker tables on Monday, May 18, 2015, to raise $137,200 for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS at the inaugural edition of Broadway Bets. Hosted by Sardi's restaurant in the heart of New York City's theatre district, Broadway Bets(#broadwaybets), a first-of-its-kind Broadway poker tournament, offered the theatre community a new and unique way to support Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS.

Broadway's biggest behind-the-scenes players are going 'all in' for Broadway Bets, the inaugural Broadway poker tournament benefiting Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS. Broadway Bets is a Texas Hold 'em poker tournament set for tonight, May 18, at Sardi's, New York City's iconic theatre district restaurant at 234 West 44th Street.

Tonight, May 7th, Broadway Sessions welcomes the 2015 graduating class from The Boston Conservatory as well as special guest alums.

The generosity of the American theatre community shined brightly as six weeks of spring fundraising raised another record-breaking grand total for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS. The 29th Annual Easter Bonnet Competition (#bwaybonnets) raised a remarkable $4,711,386, making this the third year in a row the event set a new fundraising record. Broadway's LES MISERABLES found a perfect, albeit slightly more youthful 'Jean Valjean' as part of its number at BC/EFA's 2015 Easter Bonnet Competition. 13-year-old Joshua Colley (who sometimes plays 'Gavroche') stunned the audience with his pro-level performance of 'The Confrontation' with current 'Javert' understudy John Rapson. A bevy of Broadway's best, including Kristin Chenoweth, Gavin Creel, Andrea Martin, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Helen Mirren, Matthew Morrison and more than 200 of Broadway and Off-Broadway's most talented performers, will come together this week for the 29th Annual Easter Bonnet Competition.

A longstanding tradition in New York at the Stella Adler Studio of Acting is coming to Los Angeles! The annual fundraiser for Broadway Cares / Equity Fights AIDS, dubbed the Shakespeare Benefit, will make its debut in LA this weekend, April 18th and 19th, 2015. The production will included Shakespeare scenes, monologues, sonnets, and songs featuring current students, alumni, administration and faculty. This is a pay-what-you-can event, and all proceeds will benefit BC/EFA.
