This year's lineup of Broadway Bares Solo Strips performers features Lawrence Alexander (The Lion King), Yurel Echezarreta (Aladdin), Josh Green (Wicked), Mark MacKillop (West Side Story international tour), Jaysin McCollum (The Lion King), Christopher Messina (Jersey Boys), Jamal Story (Motown: The Musical), Kit Treece (Radio City's New York Spring Spectacular), Kei Tsuruharatani (The King and I) and Ryan Worsing (Chicago).

Matilda The Musical¹s Lesli Margherita will wrangle the men as host, bringing the comedic stylings of her popular one-woman show, All Hail the Queen, to the evening's festivities.

Broadway Bares Solo Strips will once again be directed by Tony Spinosa (La Cage aux Folles). Doors open one hour prior to the show. All reserved table seats require an additional two-drink minimum.

Solo Strips pays tribute to the first edition of Broadway Bares, which began in 1992 when Jerry Mitchell, then a performer in The Will Rogers Follies, organized a benefit burlesque show featuring himself and six friends performing original strips at a bar for a donation. Mitchell, now a Tony Award-winning director and choreographer, is executive producer of Broadway Bares, which is produced by and benefits Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS.

Broadway Bares Solo Strips now is a sexy tease for Broadway Bares, one of BC/EFA's annual signature events. This year Mitchell returns to the Bares director's chair to helm Broadway Bares: Top Bottoms of Burlesque, a special 25th edition of the show inspired by the golden age of Broadway. Broadway Bares: Top Bottoms of Burlesque will feature a cast of colorful characters for every desire and fantasy. Broadway¹s iconic personalities - from devilish divas to charismatic casting directors, luscious lyricists to studly stagehands - will combine the naughtiness of burlesque with the razzle-dazzle of Broadway.

More than 150 of the hottest male and female dancers in New York City will take to the stage at Hammerstein Ballroom (311 West 34th Street) for two sensational shows at 9:30 pm and midnight. The show will be co-directed by Nick Kenkel, who also directed last year's Broadway Bares: Rock Hard! and Broadway Bares: United Strips of America in 2013. Tickets can be purchased online at broadwaycares.org.

On May 30, Broadway Bares heads back to the beach to kick off the summer season with a sizzling edition of Broadway Bares Fire Island, which will feature an evening of new numbers directed by Michael Lee Scott. The show will be performed at 7 pm and 9 pm at Whyte Hall's Brandon Fradd Theater in Fire Island Pines and is produced in association with Fire Island Pines Arts Project. All tickets to Broadway Bares Fire Island include free cocktails on the Albert Lepage Pavilion at Whyte Hall a half-hour before curtain. Tickets are available at broadwaycares.org.

The presenting sponsor of Broadway Bares is MAC VIVA Glam, with generous support from BC/EFA corporate partner United Airlines.

Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS is one of the nation¹s leading industry-based, nonprofit AIDS fundraising and grant-making organizations.
