'Oh What A Night' indeed! The real life Bob Gaudio visited the Muny's production of Jersey Boys last night, July 15. He came onstage to talk to the audience following the performance, and met the cast after the show.

The Muny's first rainout of its historical centennial season took place during the Saturday, July 14 performance of the world regional premiere of Jersey Boys. While Mother Nature had plans of her own, that did not stop Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons from treating Muny-goers to a special accapella rendition of the chart-topping hit "Sherry." The Muny has issued a response to both social media complaints and a small protest during a performance of Jerome Robbins' Broadway at the theatre this week. During a segment of the show, reenacting parts of The King and I, a group of 15 protestors were ejected while chanting 'no yellowface' during a scene where a white actress played 'Tuptim', a character from Burma (now Myanmar) in the scene. The Muny's historic Centennial Gala was held Friday, May 18, 2018, and centennial production, An Evening with the Stars, held Saturday, May 19, 2018. Attendance for the Centennial Gala was 750. Attendance for An Evening with the Stars was 6,975.

The Muny previously announced that Tony and Grammy Award-winning artist Heather Headleyand Tony, Emmy and Golden Globe Award-nominated artist Matthew Morrison will serve as co-hosts for The Muny's historic Centennial Gala show, An Evening with the Stars, May 18, 2018 at 9:15 p.m. at The Muny.
