The classic musical Funny Girl tells the story of Fanny Brice, a talented but unconventional young woman who quickly rises from chorus girl to a true Broadway star through her own determination and comedic brilliance. Along the way, her soaring career contrasts with the complicated romance between her and Nick Arnstein, forcing Fanny to choose between love and the spotlight. 

We knew them way back when..., and now Jeffery Walker III and Sara Elder are AMDA graduates! As finalists the 4th season of BroadwayWorld's Next On Stage in 2024 (Walker won in the high school age group), the talented pair received scholarships to one of the most prestigious programs in the country- AMDA College of the Performing Arts.

After months of hard work, the six finalists of BroadwayWorld's Next on Stage, sponsored by AMDA and Atlantic Acting School, hit the stage on Sunday for the live finale at 54 Below. The finalists included Lillian Duncan Bicheno, Ava Greenberg, and Keita Kawahara (High School Age Group) and Bo Bailey, Maria Elena, and Gabe Richardson (College Age Group). Check out photos here.

The next results shows (announcing the Top 3 finalists in both age categories) will air on Friday, Decmber 19 at 7pm and 9pm ET.
