Westport Country Playhouse will present Ana Gasteyer, “Saturday Night Live” alumna, with her “Sugar & Booze Holiday Spectacular,” on Monday, December 22, at 7 p.m. She will perform favorites from “Sugar & Booze,” her album of seasonal favorites and holiday originals which topped numerous “Best Holiday Album” lists.
Edgerton Foundation New Play Awards 2025 Recipients Announced

Theatre Communications Group has announced the 2025 recipients of the Edgerton Foundation New Play Awards. The awards provide additional rehearsal time for new works in development at theatres across the country. Sixteen productions will receive a total of $783,000 in support.
Update on the Broadway Tax Credit - Deadline Shifts and How Non-Profits are Qualifying

There has been a lot of press about the NYC Musical and Theatrical Production Tax Credit, but so much remains unclear. I continue to get regular questions about it, months after any major news hit. I can report now that Empire State Development (ESD), which administers the credit, is taking applications from shows with a first paid performance on or prior to December 1, well over a month after the previously reported deadline. This article will also cover a frequently asked question regarding nonprofit eligibility for the tax credit.
