The new youth arts center in downtown St. Petersburg, The PinkCricket Center for Arts Education, has decided to take a different approach to summer camp and spend the month of May raising funds to provide at least twenty full scholarships for their first summer camp through their first annual Arts and Culture Hop and Camp-a-Thon.

REEFER MADNESS!!!, based on the Cult 1936 film, is a town hall meeting warning 'Marijuana is Public Enemy #1!'. Join Dr. Alfred Carroll and a troupe of actors as they reenact what happens when College Students get hooked on Marijuana given to them by diabolical dope dealers: car accidents, manslaughter, suicide, rape, and descent into madness - REEFER MADNESS!!! The production will end its limited engagement, starring Katie Castonguay, Jan Ray, Michael Titone, and T. Scott Wooten as Dr. Alfred Carroll as they prepare for their trip to the Orlando International Fringe Theatre Festival in May. The St. Petersburg Times described this zany send up of the original film as 'fast paced and intentionally ridiculous' while Creative Loafing stated, 'you'll get high on this parody'.
