Florida State Theatre will be moving 'Shake Rattle & Roll' into the Gompertz theatre to allow it a 2-week extension. It ends performances in the Cabaret on March 25, 2012, and will continue from March 27 - April 7 in the Gompertz.

In conjunction with its Family Festivities Series, Westport Country Playhouse is hosting a book collection for Read to Grow, Inc. Beginning with the 2012 season's first Family Festivities show, "The Stinky Cheese Man and Other Fairly Stupid Tales," a new twist on classic fairy tales, on Sunday, January 29, 1 and 4 p.m., the Playhouse will collect gently used and new children's books which will be given to families and programs in the greater Fairfield County area through the Read to Grow organization. Bins will be located in the Playhouse lobby for book donations.

The producers of the newly imagined production of ON A CLEAR DAY YOU CAN SEE FOREVER starring Grammy and Emmy Award winner, Tony Award nominee and multi-platinum recording artist Harry Connick Jr announce the show will play its final performance on Sunday, January 29, 2012 at The St. James Theatre, 246 W. 44th Street. The musical will have played 29 preview and 57 regular performances.

Road Less Traveled Productions (RLTP) today announced Irish Classical Theatre Company (ICTC) Founder & Artistic Director Vincent O'Neill will star in the Western New York premiere of Conor McPherson's St. Nicholas beginning on Saturday, January 28 th , 2012. O'Neill's performance in the one-man show will mark the first time the legendary Buffalo actor will appear onstage at RLTP's Road Less Traveled Theater, located directly next door to ICTC's Andrews Theater on Main Street in the historic Downtown Buffalo Theater District.
