Australian star singer and actor Jason Donovan will play Teen Angel at certain performances in a new production of Jim Jacobs and Warren Casey’s iconic musical GREASE, which plays at the Dominion. Check out photos!

Earlier this week, company members from Grease gathered at Sardi's to celebrate the show's 50th Bradway anniversary.

Playhouse Artistic Director Ann E. Wareham and Lythgoe Family Panto are thrilled to announce a very special holiday event, Cozi Zuehlsdorff ("Dolphin Tale" Films), Joely Fisher (Broadway: Cabaret, "Desperate Housewives"), Barry Pearl ("Grease"), The Book of Mormon's Benjamin Schrader, Jeff Sumner (Genie in Disney's Aladdin-A Musical Spectacular), "American Idol" finalist Vonzell Solomon and Conor Guzman (Pasadena Playhouse; The Fantasticks) starring in SLEEPING BEAUTY AND HER WINTER KNIGHT, book by Kris Lythgoe, choreography by Spencer Liff, musical supervisor Michael Orland, musical direction by Michael Sobie and directed by Linda Goodrich. "Last year's holiday confection returns with an all-new Lythgoe Family Panto event on our stage!" comments Artistic Director Ann E. Wareham. Remarks Becky Lythgoe, "We are delighted to be back at the Playhouse with our second show and with this extraordinary cast for a truly magical holiday show!" SLEEPING BEAUTY AND HER WINTER KNIGHT will begin performances on Wednesday, December 7; will open on Friday, December 9 at 7:30pm and will run through Friday, December 30, 2016 at the Playhouse, 606 Laguna Canyon Road in Laguna Beach.

The smash-hit musical Grease has a new cast from 25 January 2010 including popular Heart presenter Toby Anstis. Making his West End debut, the radio star will gain a host of angels when he joins the cast as ‘Teen Angel' for a limited season from 25 January to 20 March 2010 at London's Piccadilly Theatre.

Taylor Hicks had a surprise in store for the audience attending last Saturday evening's performance June 6th with prop that stopped the show with laughter and applause. While on stage in Appleton, Wisconsin (the CHEESE state), Hicks decided to surprise the local audience when he appears from inside the ice cream cone by wearing a cheese hat!

The brand new production of GREASE, stars American Idol winner Taylor Hicks alongside Eric Schneider as 'Danny' and Emily Padgett as 'Sandy.' Eric made his Broadway debut in Jersey Boys. His previous credits include Altar Boyz (Off-Broadway) and the national tours of Altar Boyz and The Full Monty. Emily made her Broadway debut in GREASE, where she understudied the role of Sandy. Her other credits include Legally Blonde on Broadway and the national tours of CATS. Starring as 'Rizzo' will be Allie Schulz, a contestant on NBC's 'Grease: You're the One That I Want.' Allie comes directly from the Broadway company of GREASE.

On September 11th, 2008 the smash hit Broadway production of Grease welcomed 'American Idol' Season Five finalist, Ace Young, in his Broadway debut as 'Kenickie' at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre. To celebrate, the cast and crew went to Planet Hollywood in Times Square where he presented the famous restaurant with his T-Bird leather jacket for their Broadway Memorabilia Museum.

On September 11th, 2008 the smash hit Broadway production of Grease welcomed 'American Idol' Season Five finalist, Ace Young, in his Broadway as he joined the company in the role of 'Kenickie' at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre.

'American Idol' Season Five winner, Taylor Hicks, made his Broadway debut when he joined the cast of GREASE in the role of 'Teen Angel' on Friday, June 6, 2008 at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre. On Sunday, September 7th, 2008 Hicks took his final bow after a successful three month run met with rave reviews.
