Sara Bareilles has just announced, via a statement on the Waitress London Twitter account, that she and Gavin Creel will be ending their performances in the show on 14 March, instead of playing until 21 March as arranged. The decision is related to international travel restrictions in relation to the coronavirus outbreak.

Lucie Jones and David Hunter will return to the roles of Jenna and Dr Pomatter in the 2020 Olivier Award nominated musical Waitress from Monday 23 March. Waitress is nominated for Best New Musical and Best New Original Score for music and lyrics by Sara Bareilles who is currently performing with Gavin Creel at the Adelphi Theatre until 21 March. NaTasha Yvette Williams joins the Waitress company in the role of Becky.

Diners in a PizzaExpress pizzeria were amazed when the team serving them turned out to be the cast of the hit West End musical, Waitress.

Gavin Creel is the first star to appear on a new weekly podcast, launched today by concert producers Club 11 London and William J Connolly. On the show, Creel teases an exciting new project with Grammy winner Sara Bareilles, currently his co-star in the West End production of Waitress.

Waitress audiences have an additional chance to see 2020 Grammy Award winner Sara Bareilles and Olivier and Tony Award-winning actor Gavin Creel as new performance dates have been added following a rapturous critical and public reception at the Adelphi Theatre. Sara Bareilles, who wrote the music and lyrics for Waitress, is making her West End debut in the lead role of Jenna with Gavin Creel as Dr Pomatter having previously performed together on the Broadway run. They will be extending for a further two weeks, now appearing through to 21 March 2020.

Sara Bareilles is currently making her West End debut in WAITRESS, playing Jenna alongside Gavin Creel as Dr. Pomatter. On the show's Twitter account, Bareilles revealed some of the 'ingredients' that make up hit song 'She Used To Be Mine' in a new series called #WaitressUnbaked - watch the video below!

I get this feeling like I'm screaming out into the universe - it's incredibly cathartic. Feels like a kind of musical primal scream therapy!'

The hosts of the next Waitress London Cast Album Karaoke Night taking place on 24 February will be the show's composer and 2020 Grammy® Award winner Sara Bareilles (Love Song, Brave) and Olivier and Tony Award winner Gavin Creel (The Book of Mormon, Hello Dolly!) who are now starring in the roles of Jenna and Dr Pomatter for six weeks only until 7 March.

After making her West End debut as Jenna in Waitress Desi Oakley again took to the West End stage last night in the lead role after Lucie Jones was unable to perform for Act 2 following her return to the production. Oakley was flown in overnight to fill in at the production when all the performers who could go on as Jenna became ill.x
