The world premiere new musical, "Wicked Frozen! A Musical Parody Mashup of 'Wicked' and 'Frozen' Written by Two People Who Have Never Seen 'Wicked' or 'Frozen'", will be presented this November at the famed People's Improv Theatre (PIT)! After an award­sweeping run during the 2014 West Village Musical Theatre Festival this summer, the fan­favorite short musical has been expanded to a hilarious sixty­minute piece.

?A day-of-performance lottery for a limited number of orchestra seats will be held for WICKED, which is returning to The San Diego Civic Theatre with performances from November 12-December 7, 2014.

Today in 2003, Wicked opened at the Gershwin Theatre, where it is still running. Based on the novel by Gregory Maguire, Wicked has music and lyrics by Stephen Schwartz, and a book by Winnie Holzman. The production is directed by Joe Mantello with musical staging by Wayne Cilento. Wicked is produced by Marc Platt, Universal Pictures, The Araca Group, Jon B. Platt and David Stone. The show celebrated its tenth anniversary on Broadway last year, and a slew of Wicked alumni attended the special event. To celebrate this day, BroadwayWorld is flashing back to WICKED's epic 10th birthday!

The National Touring Company of WICKED will host THE WICKED ROCKY HORROR SHOW, a staged concert performance of Richard O'Brien's The Rocky Horror Show, at the Tommy Wind Theatre, 3765 Las Vegas Blvd. South on Monday, October 27, at 8:00 p.m. The event will feature the company of WICKED, and net proceeds will benefit Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS and Las Vegas' Golden Rainbow.

The Wicked Witch of the West from the award-winning musical theatre blockbuster WICKED flew into Sydney today, ahead of the first performance at the Capitol Theatre on September 20 and an exciting summer season. Landing by helicopter at Macquarie lighthouse at South Head, Elphaba 'The Wicked Witch' was greeted by the Winky Prince Fiyero, munchkin Boq and citizens of the Emerald City in Oz. WICKED pros appear at Broadway Fantasy Camp's All Day Broadway: WICKED. Carla Stickler, currently appearing as 'Elphaba Understudy' in WICKED at The Gershwin Theatre, will meet with Broadway Fantasy Camp participants on Saturday, October 18, 2014 in Manhattan. Joining Stickler is Jennifer DiNoia, who is rejoining the Broadway company as 'Elphaba Standby.' The Musical Director is Jason Yarcho, previous Conductor for the first National Tour of WICKED.

The Oxford Shakespeare Company will momentarily depart from Q&As with classical actors like Patrick Stewart, Fiona Shaw, Derek Jacobi and F Murray Abraham, to present acting students an opportunity to talk with Broadway musical star Katie Rose Clarke, who starred as Glinda in Wicked, Clara in Light in the Piazza, and Babe in The Pajama Game.
