Nicholas Martin has been named Artistic Director of the Williamstown Theatre Festival (WTF), effective November 1, 2007, it was announced by WTF Board President Matt Harris. After a successful and productive three year tenure as the Artistic Director of the WTF, Roger Rees will step down to move on to other opportunities.

Due to the recent wildfires in San Diego County, La Jolla Playhouse announced today that their 2007 'Diamonds Are Forever' Gala, originally scheduled for Saturday, October 27, 2007, has been rescheduled to Saturday, December 8, 2007. This year's special gala is designed as a celebration of both La Jolla Playhouse's 60th anniversary, as well as a tribute to Director Emeritus Des McAnuff.
