Hadestown has won the Grammy for Best Musical Theater Album! The announcement was made during the Grammy Awards Premiere Ceremony on Sunday, January 26. 

Dallas Summer Musicals (DSM), in partnership with Broadway Across America (BAA),  has announced the full lineup of Broadway shows coming to Dallas in the 2020-2021 season. The eight-show lineup features fan-favorites, fresh adaptations, and seven Tony Award® winners including 2019's Best Musical, HADESTOWN. Season tickets will go on sale at 12 p.m. on Friday, January 17.

On Friday, January 10th at 1 pm,  Tony Award-winning Hadestown held an added special performance for The Actors Fund. It was the first special performance of 2020 for The Actors Fund.  Tony Award winner André De Shields rocked the house after the performance with a 'curtain sermon' about The Actors Fund that will be long remembered.

The Tony Award winning and Grammy nominated cast of Hadestown donated a special matinee performance at The Walter Kerr Theatre on January 10 to The Actors Fund.

All we've ever known is that we can't get enough of Hadestown- the eight-time Tony-winning mega-hit, which is currently playing at the Walter Kerr Theatre. In the new musical, mythic lovers Orpheus and Eurydice share a kind of love that brings forth a melody...puts the world back in tune. Just last night, the cast and creative team of Hadestown celebrated the show's Vinyl and CD release with a special signing event on stage at the Walter Kerr. Joining in the night full of song and trivia were Anaïs Mitchell and Rachel Chavkin in addition to cast members Reeve Carney, Tony Award winner André De Shields, Tony Award nominee Amber Gray, Tony Award nominee Eva Noblezada, Tony Award nominee Patrick Page, and more!

Hadestown recently celebrated 250 performances on Broadway!

Today, Sing It Again Records announced that the Original Broadway Cast Recording of Hadestown, winner of eight Tony Awards including Best Musical, will be available on CD starting Friday, November 1 and vinyl Black Friday, November 29.
