Actors' Playhouse at the Miracle Theatre's 30th anniversary season will close with a bang this summer, a 'big bang' in fact. Back by popular demand, the company will reprise the hilarious hit musical comedy The Big Bang, with music by Jed Feuer and book and lyrics by Boyd Graham, from July 25 - September 2, 2018.

In addition to his lead turn in Broadway At Music Circus's 2012 production of Crazy for You, Racey has performed on Broadway in Curtains, Never Gonna Dance, Thoroughly Modern Millie and Follies.

National Geographic announced today that the longest-running documentary series on television, the critically acclaimed EXPLORER, will return in fall 2018 as a central part of the National Geographic multiplatform universe. EXPLORER, from National Geographic Studios, will exist across platforms with the launch of 'Open Explorer,' an online field journal for explorers and scientists to document their expeditions in real-time, National Geographic magazine content that will be brought to life through the series, original weekly digital and social extensions as well as series extensions and one-of-a-kind NatGeo Live! events across the country. With Phil Keoghan, the Emmy award-winning TV personality on board as the new host, the upcoming season of EXPLORER - with 20 all-new episodes - will continue the series' longstanding mission to deepen viewers' understanding of the world through complex, compelling and provocative storytelling. The new season, currently in production, will premiere on National Geographic in 172 countries and 43 languages.

The 70th anniversary season of the Festival d'Aix-en-Provence will present an incomparable collection of artists from around the globe in six major opera productions; recitals, chamber music and orchestral concerts from July 4 through 24; plus multiple events from the Acad mie du Festival d'Aix in June and July. This double anniversary season - the Festival's 70th and the Academy's 20th - also celebrates the conclusion of Bernard Foccroulle's eleven-year tenure as general manager of the Festival. His legacy will be on display in the 2018 season with commissions, new productions, major participatory events, and significantly broader outreach to Arab and local audiences. Foccroulle will be succeeded by Park Avenue Armory artistic director and Dutch National Opera director Pierre Audi in September 2018.
