Sea Wall on Stage Videos - West End

Max Bartos, who is set to make his Broadway debut in Sing Street, took to Facebook to share a video of himself performing the song Beautiful Sea from the show.

From Shakespeare to Shepard, Tennessee Williams to Arthur Miller, Broadway was brought to life this year with not only revivals of today's classics, but with new plays that will surely be tomorrow's classics. On September 7th, 'Live from Here with Chris Thile' aired its season four premiere, with special guest stars Ezra Koenig of Vampire Weekend, Jake Gyllenhaal, and Natalia Lafourcade. Gyllenhaal performed an excerpt from his Broadway show, 'Sea Wall/A Life.' Watch it below! 

Sea Wall / A Life, starring Academy Award nominee Jake Gyllenhaal and Tony Award nominee Tom Sturridge, opened officially last night, August 8, at the Hudson Theatre (141 West 44th Street). Written by Tony Award winner Simon Stephens and Olivier Award nominee Nick Payne and directed by Carrie Cracknell, the acclaimed production comes to Broadway following its sold-out engagement at The Public Theaterthis past spring where it had audiences roaring to their feet.

Jake Gyllenhaal stopped by The Late Show with Stephen Colbert on Monday night to talk about starring in Sea Wall / A Life, which is opening on Broadway this Friday.

Jake Gyllenhaal was a guest on today's episode of Live with Kelly and Ryan to talk about the play he will be starring in on Broadway, Sea Wall/A Life.

On Tuesday night's episode of The Late Late Show with James Corden, James becomes distracted dring his London edition of Dogs in Sunglasses. He starts to think of Jake Gyllenhaal, who had to cancel his appearance on the show. James starts to sing an an ode to the talented, kind and handsome actor, in the style of Whitney Houston's 'Greatest Love of All,' but then he's greeted by a surprise when Jake Gyllenhaal makes a special appearance.

As previously announced, Sea Wall / A Life, which recently played to sold-out audiences at The Public Theater, will open on Broadway this summer. Written by Simon Stephens and Nick Payne respectively, directed by Carrie Cracknell, and starring Academy Award nominee Jake Gyllenhaal, who received a Drama League Award nomination for his performance in the show at The Public Theater, and Tony Award nominee Tom Sturridge who received a Lucille Lortel Award nomination for his performance in the show at The Public Theater, Sea Wall / A Life will begin performances on Friday, July 26 at Hudson Theatre (141 West 44th Street), with the opening night set for Thursday, August 8.
