Birdland Jazz Club will host the return of Jeff Harnar in his show The 1959 Broadway Songbook. Harnar will be joined by his music director Alex Rybeck, in addition to Tom Hubbard on bass and Dan Gross on drums. 

LADY DAY AT EMERSON’S BAR AND GRILL will be presented at Ivoryton Playhouse. The production stars Christina Acosta Robinson as Billie Holiday and features live music. Performances will run in Connecticut through May.

To say that the Tony Award-winning 2022 musical “Some Like It Hot,” which Broadway in Boston is presenting at Citizens Opera House through February 8, has quite a pedigree is putting it mildly.

The complete cast and creative team has been revealed for the upcoming world premiere of That’s Love! The Dorothy Dandridge Musical, starring N’Kenge. N’Kenge, who conceived the musical, will direct alongside Broadway veteran Christina Sajous.

Violinist Kristin Lee will make her Weill Recital Hall debut at Carnegie Hall with pianist John Novacek. The performance is part of United in Sound: America at 250, the citywide festival presented by Carnegie Hall.

Tommy Mesa will release his new album '17(67)' on February 13, 2026, showcasing a blend of classical and contemporary music performed on a historic 1767 Nicolò Gagliano cello.
