La Jolla Playhouse Announces 2023/24 Season Featuring Five World Premieres

 La Jolla Playhouse has announced the first five productions of its 2023/2024 season, including the world-premiere musical The Untitled Unauthorized Hunter S. Thompson Musical, music and lyrics by Joe Iconis, book by Joe Iconis and Gregory S. Moss, directed by Tony Award winner Christopher Ashley.

FROZEN's Patti Murin To Make NJ Debut at the Holmdel Theatre in November

Maybe the Holmdel Theatre should consider changing its name to Arendelle, the kingdom in Disney’s popular Frozen franchise. Patti Murin, better known to some as Princess Anna, will take the stage at 8 p.m. Saturday, November 5 as part of the theater’s Broadway in the Barn series.

La Jolla Playhouse has announced the cast and creative team for its production of As You Like It, by William Shakespeare, co-directed by Tony Award winner Christopher Ashley, the Rich Family Artistic Director of La Jolla Playhouse, and Helen Hayes Award winner Will Davis. It will run November 15 – December 11.

Marc is the founder of Broadway Workshop, which provides year-round, professional-level classes and workshops for kids 8-19 with some of the finest artists working on Broadway and in the West End. He is also the founder of Project Broadway, a non-profit that provides scholarship opportunities to young performers.
