New York City's oldest and longest producing LGBTQIA+ theater company TOSOS (Artistic Director Mark Finley) has announced the launch of their 50th Anniversary Season, including two full productions, an expansive reading series, annual gala, and several impactful events activated to celebrate the community.

Pennsylvania Shakespeare Festival has announced the complete principal casts, creative teams, and events planned for the previously announced summer season.

Artistic Director Michael Unger has unveiled Skylight Music Theatre's 2023-2024 season at an in-person and livestreamed event from the Cabot Theatre featuring musical selections from the shows to be presented in Skylight's upcoming 64th season. La Jolla Playhouse has announced the dates and projects for its 2022 DNA New Work Series, running December 1 – 12 in the Playhouse’s Rao and Padma Makineni Play Development Center.

On this day in 2007, the musical adaptation of the cult classic film Xanadu opened at Broadway's Helen Hayes Theatre. 

This summer, Duluth Playhouse presents the award-winning hit Broadway musical XANADU, skating into the NorShor Theatre on July 15th and running through August 1st. This zany satire, based on the 1980 cult film starring Olivia Newton-John, features all the chart-topping songs from the film's soundtrack including “Magic,” “I'm Alive,” and 'Xanadu.'
