Earlier this week, it was announced that Cabaret will soon willkommen audiences back on Broadway. We are celebrating the news with a playlist of the Best of Kander and Ebb. 

The 2023 Tony nominees are already winners... literally. For some, this marks their first nomination, but others have already won Tony Awards in seasons past. We took a look at which nominees have won at least a Tony or two (or seven!) - amongst them, they've gathered a total 79 awards!

Just yesterday, Broadway was introduced to the latest musical from John Kander and the late Fred Ebb- New York, New York is in previews at the St. James Theatre. We are celebrating the new musical with a playlist of the Best of Kander and Ebb.

Broadway legend John Kander, who is currently represented on Broadway with Chicago and New York, New York, celebrates his 96th birthday tomorrow, March 18. To celebrate the headed to the Ambassador Theatre to pose with the ladies of Chicago!

The Fred Ebb Foundation in association with the Roundabout Theatre Company will present the eighteenth annual Fred Ebb Award for aspiring musical theatre songwriters to Julia Riew.

Producers Sonia Friedman and Tom Kirdahy have announced that the brand new Kander & Ebb musical, NEW YORK, NEW YORK, will begin performances on Broadway Friday, March 24, 2023 and officially open Wednesday, April 26, 2023 at Broadway’s St. James Theatre.

Broadway music director, conductor, arranger, and songwriter Donald Pippin has passed away at 95. Pippin's work included his notable collaborations with Jerry Herman, including Mame and La Cage aux Folles. 

The award, named in honor of the late award-winning lyricist Fred Ebb, will be presented to the team of Isabella Dawis & Tidtaya Sinutoke by Heidi Blickenstaff and Julia Murney on Monday May 2nd from 6-8pm at a by-invitation-only ceremony at Bond 45. T

The Fred Ebb Foundation in association with the Roundabout Theatre Company announced today that applications for the seventeenth annual Fred Ebb Award for aspiring musical theatre songwriters are now available. Applications will be accepted from June 1 - June 30, 2021. The winner will be selected in November of 2021.

Bernard, Trustee) in association with the Roundabout Theatre Company (Todd Haimes, Artistic Director) presented the fifteenth annual Fred Ebb Award for aspiring musical theatre songwriters to Angela Sclafani & Benjamin Velez. The award, named in honor of the late award-winning lyricist Fred Ebb, was presented by Kate Baldwin on Monday, December 2nd from 6-8pm at a by-invitation-only ceremony in the Penthouse Lounge of The American Airlines Theater.

The award, named in honor of the late award-winning lyricist Fred Ebb, will be presented by Alan Cumming on Monday, November 26th from 6-8pm at a by-invitation-only ceremony in the Penthouse Lounge of The American Airlines Theater.

Built in 1913 as the flagship for the big time vaudeville circuit run by E.F. Albee and Martin Beck, manager of the Western Vaudeville Managers Association, the Palace was the perfect showplace for the biggest of big time vaudeville during the last two decades of its existence.

The Fred Ebb Foundation, in association with the Roundabout Theatre Company, will present the 13th annual Fred Ebb Award for aspiring musical theatre songwriters to Shaina Taub.

The McCallum Theatre presents Vikki Carr, with Mariachi Campagna, on Friday, December 1, at 8:00pm. Vikki Carr has captivated audiences nationally and abroad for over 50 years. Her illustrious career has garnered four Grammy Awards and she has released over 60 best selling recordings. She has performed for the Queen of England, five U.S. Presidents, soldiers in Vietnam, and sold out audiences around the world. She has worked in radio, television, film and theater. Her music embraces multiple languages, and she was among the first artists to bridge the cultures of the United States and Latin America, paving the way for many performers today.

The Fred Ebb Foundation in association with the Roundabout Theatre Company will present the thirteenth annual Fred Ebb Award for aspiring musical theatre songwriters. 

Michael Weber, artistic director of Porchlight Music Theatre, has announced Porchlight Music Theatre's 2017 - 2018 mainstage season.

The Fred Ebb Foundation has announced that its 2016 donation to Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS will total $1.675 million dollars, bringing the foundation's total contribution to BC/EFA to $13.325 million since it began 12 years ago. The foundation, which is funded by royalties from the late award-winning lyricist Fred Ebb's vast catalogue of work, makes an annual donation to BC/EFA.

The Fred Ebb Foundation in association with the Roundabout Theatre Company will present the twelfth annual Fred Ebb Award for aspiring musical theatre songwriters to Thomas Mizer and Curtis Moore. 

Legendary theatrical sound designer Abe Jacob will be honored for his pioneering career achievements at the Live Design Awards on Monday, June 13 in New York. Another legendary icon, Chita Rivera, will present the award to Jacob, whom she has known since the original Broadway production of CHICAGO (1975).
