The first standings have been revealed for the 2026 Theater Fans' Choice Awards. The Theater Fans' Choice Awards honor and celebrate the best of New York Theater - as decided by the most important critics, the audience at large.

The Stratford Festival will present Samuel Beckett's WAITING FOR GODOT at the Festival Theatre, directed by Molly Atkinson, starring Paul Gross and Tom McCamus in the play's first-ever appearance on the Festival stage.

The Stratford Festival will present SOMETHING ROTTEN! for a return engagement, directed and choreographed by Donna Feore, with a cast led by Mark Uhre, Starr Domingue, Henry Firmston, and Jeff Lillico as Shakespeare.

The Clown School Company will present TRICKSTER at the Hollywood Fringe Festival, following a sell-out run at The Stomping Ground LA. The show weaves mythical tales directed by Sarah Painter, with a script by David Bridel.

The National Arts Centre in Ottawa announced its upcoming season, featuring new NAC Orchestra Music Director John Storgårds, dance, theatre, and performances by Bruce Cockburn, Hilary Hahn, and Zadie Smith.

This year’s program reflects the ambition of Australia’s creative output, spanning everything from contemporary circus and physical theatre to comedy, drama, music and immersive experiences.
