Cristina Garcia is officially adapting her award-winning novel, Dreaming in Cuban, for theatrical production. She is collaborating with Adrian Alexander Alea, who most recently assistant directed The Public Theater's A Midsummer Night's Dream, to direct and produce this most anticipated piece.

The Alley Theatre and Interim Artistic Director James Black, announce the cast and crew of the family drama The Humans by Stephen Karam and directed by Alley Artistic Associate Brandon Weinbrenner. The New York Times calls the play "a beautiful and moving play…a genuine and precious rarity." The Humans runs March 1-24 in the Hubbard Theatre. Vicetone Drops New Single & Official Music Video For 'Fences'

Fresh off a massive sold-out show in Montreal at New City Gas on New Year's eve, Dutch production duo Vicetone - aka Ruben den Boer and Victor Pool - have unveiled their slick new anthem, 'Fences'. The single is a powerful production led by the vocal talents of Matt Wertz, an acclaimed singer/songwriter who has previously toured with Jason Mraz. 'Fences' is set for release on January 18th, the track precedes the drop of the duo's forthcoming 'Elements' EP, which is set for release on February 22nd.

Casting Announced For A DOLL'S HOUSE, PART 2 At San Diego Rep

San Diego Repertory Theatre announced today the cast and creative team for the third production in their 43rd season, Lucas Hnath's A Doll's House, Part 2. Directing this production is San Diego REP Artistic Director Sam Woodhouse. Hnath's A Doll's House, Part 2 debuted on Broadway in 2017 where it received eight Tony Award nominations. Performances run November 21 - December 16, 2018, at the Lyceum Stage Theatre. Tickets start at $25 and are currently on sale to the general public. Previews run November 21 - 27, 2018. Press opening is Wednesday, November 28 at 7:00 p.m.

Ava DuVernay's AUGUST 28 to Make Television Debut on OWN

PBS recently unveiled a list of America's 100 best-loved novels, chosen in support of THE GREAT AMERICAN READ, a new PBS series and multi-platform initiative that celebrates the joy of reading and the books we love. THE GREAT AMERICAN READ, hosted by television personality and journalist Meredith Vieira, launches with a two-hour episode on Tuesday, May 22, 2018, at 8 p.m. on PBS stations and will introduce viewers to the full list of America's 100 favorite novels selected through a demographically representative national survey conducted by YouGov.
