What did our critic think of HADESTOWN at National Arts Centre? Broadway Across Canada’s presentation of the Tony- and Grammy-award winning Hadestown, pulled into the National Arts Centre last night after a seven-week residency in Toronto.

In what can only be described as a perfect match between performer and venue, Tony Award winner Kelli O’Hara (“The King and I”) will appear in concert, with Dan Lipton on piano, in the  glorious and intimate setting of Seiji Ozawa Hall at Tanglewood in Lenox/Stockbridge on August 22.

Hart, of Andersonville, has been training actors of all levels since she began teaching in 2006. She taught for five years at the acclaimed Chicago Shakespeare Theatre, as well as at Loyola University, Notre Dame University Summer Shakespeare, and Act One Conservatory. She has served as text coach for Chicago Shakespeare, Strawdog Theatre and Summer Shakespeare at Notre Dame, and her directing credits include Macbeth at City Lit Theatre and Falstaff's Dream at Notre Dame.

Grammy-winning singer/songwriter Corinne Bailey Rae premieres her new single, “Peach Velvet Sky” with an accompanying video directed by Gregory Berg. The video features UK dancer /choreographer Mayowa Ogunnaike as well as Bailey Rae.
