La Jolla Playhouse has revealed the dates and projects for its 2023 DNA New Work Series, running November 30 – December 10.

Signature Theatre today will present an all-star benefit reading of Sam Shepard’s contemporary classic True West, led by acclaimed actors Ebon Moss-Bachrach (The Bear, Girls) as Austin, David Harbour (Stranger Things, Black Widow) as Lee, Ann Dowd (The Handmaid’s Tale, Compliance) as Mom, and Denis O’Hare (American Horror Story, True Blood) as Saul.

Tickets for the long-awaited return engagement of Disney's Aladdin will go on sale to the public on Tuesday, November 14 at 10 am.  The hit Broadway musical comedy will begin performances in Seattle at The Paramount Theatre on Wednesday, April 24 for a limited engagement of through Sunday, April 28, 2024.

From November 17 through 22, BAM presents the Masc film series. What did Aladdin, I had seen the movie one time about 25 years ago with my daughter. I remember little about it, except of course what lived on in memes. Robin Williams was the Genie and Gilbert Gottfried as Iago. I have very little memory of the movie, so my expectations were almost non-existent. Kid’s movie, now a Broadway musical. Got it. Sadler’s Wells' production of Message In A Bottle, the acclaimed dance theatre show by Sadler’s Wells Associate Artist Kate Prince, set to the music of 17-time Grammy Award-winning icon Sting, will embark on a major 10-stop North American tour in 2024. 

Featuring the best and brightest voices in country music, the festive two-hour special “Christmas at the Opry” will treat viewers to an array of Christmas favorites, holiday classics and the biggest hits. Wynonna will host the highly anticipated musical event featuring performances in front of a live audience of country music fans.

The album, which entered the US Billboard album chart at No. 1 upon release in 1992, was named after a post-Civil War southern hymnal and is home to some of the band's biggest hits, including 'Remedy,' “Sting Me,” and 'Thorn in My Pride” which were #1 on the Billboard Main Stream Rock Airplay chart for a combined total of 21 weeks.
