Milnerton Players Presents Stephen Sondheim's PUTTING IT TOGETHER Revue

PUTTING IT TOGETHER opens at Milnerton Playhouse on Saturday November 30 with a low price preview on Friday 29 November and runs until Saturday December 14. This fast-paced revue devised by Stephen Sondheim and Julia Mackenzie it showcases Sondheim's songs and draws its title from a song from his famous 'Sunday in the Park with George'.

On the evening of Friday, November 1, a vibrant a?"and extremely stylisha?"crowd of more than 200 LGBTQ+ artists and allies packed into the 3rd floor auditorium at The Center (208 W. 13th St.) for the 2019 Queer|Art Annual Party. The evening convened a celebration for the graduating Fellows of the 2018-2019 Queer|Art|Mentorship program cycle and occasioned the announcement of the winners for the 2019 Queer|Art|Prize (made possible with generous support from HBO and Bloomberg Philanthropies).

L.A. County Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony  December 2, 2019 5:00 p.m.a?" 6:00 p.m. The Music Center Plaza (135. N. Grand Ave.) Los Angeles kicks off the holiday season with the County's annual Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony. The joyous celebration will include civic speakers, including Fifth District Supervisor Kathryn Barger, and performances by Brass Pacifica and a local school choir. Flushing Town Hall Presents 5th Annual Diwali Festival

On Saturday, November 2, Flushing Town Hall will celebrate the Festival of Lights with its fifth annual Diwali Festival, a Diwali Dance Party that features DJ Rekha and Abha Roy in a mash-up of Bhangra and Kathak music and dance styles. The celebration also will include cooking workshops, dance lessons, traditional foods, and family-friendly activities such as henna painting, a jewelry workshop, Indian fashions and games.

Disney Theatrical Productions and the Orpheum Theatre Group announced today that tickets for the long-awaited engagement of Disney's Aladdin will go on sale to the public on Friday, October 18 at 10am. The hit Broadway musical will begin performances in Memphis at the Orpheum Theatre on February 26, 2020 for a limited engagement of 2 weeks through March 8, 2020.

In February, Tim Cowbury returns with his bold response to the migration crisis, The Claim, following its run in Edinburgh as part of the British Council Showcase; the piece is directed by Mark Maughan.
