Craft Recordings and Acoustic Sounds announced new audiophile reissues in the MOODSVILLE ACOUSTIC SOUNDS series, featuring classic 1960s jazz titles from The Tommy Flanagan Trio, Coleman Hawkins, and Eddie "Lockjaw" Davis with Shirley Scott.

Directed by Jonathan O'Boyle, this production comes from Barn Theatre Cirencester where it was first staged in 2022, revived for a summer run and now transfers with its full Barn company before heading off on a national tour. It arrives as a hastily arranged replacement for the troubled Burlesque that is doing its own circuit of the UK after cancelling what was meant to be its opening run.

Bells Are Ringing will return in a special concert celebration of the musical’s 70th anniversary, at 54 Below, with tickets available both in-person and via a one-time-only livestream.

MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET will open at Wales Millennium Centre, Cardiff on 26 January 2027, touring 23 UK venues through July, following its London run at The Arts at Marble Arch.

Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre has unveiled costume renderings for its upcoming new production of The Nutcracker, featuring designs by Susan Roemer. The Royal Court Theatre will present a diverse lineup of new works at its Spring Open Submissions Festival, supported by Character 7, highlighting emerging playwrights and innovative plays.

Recently, Michael’s production of the new play, Incitation of the Dance, opened at Theatre West. Its title Inspired by Gene Kelly's 1956 film; Invitation to the Dance, this dark comedy explores the complexities of older gay relationships—described by one critic as a 'gay gray play.'
