Salty Theatre presents the Australian Premiere of Top Gun! The Musical for TWO NIGHTS ONLY at Chapel Off Chapel! Originally produced during the Toronto Fringe, TG!TM was nominated for multiple Dora Awards, including Outstanding New Musical. In 2004, Top Gun! The Musical was selected to be part of the inaugural New York Musical Theatre Festival, alongside featured new musicals by Stephen Schwartz, Avenue Q's Marx and Lopez and Chicago's Kander and Ebb. Now, Salty Theatre is bringing together a stellar group of international artists to introduce Top Gun! The Musical to Melbourne.

In its epic reboot of Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, HGTV has brought in some of the biggest names in home renovation to help execute extraordinary, life-changing home transformations for families. The series, hosted by award-winning actor Jesse Tyler Ferguson, will feature special guest stars in every episode, including Tarek El Moussa(Flip or Flop), Jasmine Roth (Hidden Potential) and Tamara Day (Bargain Mansions). Today, BET Networks announced the production of a new original movie 'SACRIFICE' starring Paula Patton ('Hitch,' 'Precious'). 'SACRIFICE' takes place in Los Angeles following Daniella Hernandez, played by Patton, a highly sought after entertainment lawyer. The legal thriller tracks Daniella as she navigates the nefarious lives of her rich and famous clients. Daniella has a reputation that proves problematic to LA Law enforcement, forcing her to be at odds with her sorority sister turned nemesis District Attorney Beverly Rucker. In an attempt to protect her often unscrupulous clients, Daniella enlists the services of her resourceful assistant and a young ex-hacker and tech genius. 'SACRIFICE' is executive produced, written, and directed by Chris Stokes. Marques Houston also serves as the film's co-executive producer for Footage Films. Principal photography for 'SACRIFICE' took place in New Orleans. 'SACRIFICE' will premiere on BET's new streaming service BET+ in 2020.

The musical Mary Poppins is currently playing at the Elbe Stage-Theatre in Hamburg. The show is based on the 1934 published novel about the famous nanny, created by Pamela L. Travers. Mary Poppins gained worldwide recognition through the 1964 movie with Julie Andrews and Dick van Dyke. In 1993, Cameron Mackintosh could convince Pamela L. Travers to take her novel to the stage.
