59E59 Theaters presents the world premiere of A WOMAN OF THE WORLD written by Rebecca Gilman and directed by Valentina Fratti. Produced by The Acting Company in association with Miranda Theatre Company, A WOMAN OF THE WORLD begins performances on Thursday, October 24 for a limited engagement through Sunday, November 17. Press Opening is Wednesday, October 30 at 7:30 pm. The performance schedule is Tuesday a?' Friday at 7:30 pm; Saturday at 2:30 pm & 7:30 pm; and Sunday at 2:30 pm. Please note the following added performances: Thursday, November 7 and Thursday, November 14 at 2:30 pm. Performances are at 59E59 Theaters (59 East 59th Street, between Park and Madison). Single tickets are $25 - $35 ($26 for 59E59 Members). Tickets are available by calling the 59E59 Box Office at 646-892-7999 or by visiting www.59e59.org. The running time is 85 minutes, with no intermission.

AboutFACE Ireland have announced the final selections for the 2018 NEWvember New Plays Festival Dublin – a showcase of original plays to be held at The New Theatre in Dublin's city centre, November 8-10 2018. The announcement was made by AboutFACE Co-Artistic Directors Anna Nugent and Paul Nugent. NEWvember Dublin will feature these works over a three-day weekend, presented via rehearsed readings. After 5 years of NEWvember Festivals in New York, this is the 2nd year the event will be held in Dublin. The spirit of NEWvember is to provide a dynamic, interactive and welcoming place where writers can hear their plays read by seasoned actors, and discuss their work and creative process. It was also announced that many of this year's playwrights will be in attendance, and will take part in post show Q&As, including writers travelling from the US.

Founding Artistic Director, Akia Squitieri announced today that Rising Sun Performance Company has been granted a full season residency on Governors Island for their 2018 Season. Their first production on the Island will be the world premiere of "The Golden Dove" by Laura Hirschberg, a new play for Young Audiences and Family friendly for all ages. The production will run weekly June through October 2018
