The first performance for Brian Copeland's (in partnership with the Marin Cultural Association) The Best of San Francisco Solo Series at The Marin Center's Showcase Theater is Irma Herrera's solo show Why Would I Mispronounce My Own Name?, a new work that weaves history and comedic insights into stories about names, shedding light and throwing shade on societal prejudices and assumptions. When giving her name its correct Spanish pronunciation, Irma often gets the, 'where are you from?' question. The assumption: that she is a foreigner. Irma's family has been in South Texas for generations, and the award-winning social justice activist, lawyer, and journalist thinks of herself as American as apple pie.

The fifth season premiere of 'Superstore' (0.8 rating in 18-49, 2.9 million viewers overall from 8-8:30 p.m. ET) is up up 0.2 of a point or +33% versus last season's finale in 18-49 (0.8 vs. 0.6 on May 16) and up +47% in total viewers (2.876 million vs. 1.952 million). It pulls within 0.2 of a point of 'Young Sheldon' in the half-hour (0.8 vs. 1.0) after trailing CBS in the timeslot with the year-ago 'Superstore' season premiere by 1.3 rating points (0.9 vs. 2.2).

The fifth season premiere of 'Chicago Med' (1.0 rating in 18-49, 7.4 million viewers overall from 8-9 p.m. ET) is the #2 show of the night in total viewers behind only the season premiere of 'The Masked Singer.' It nearly matches 'The Masked Singer' in the 8-9 p.m. hour, finishing within 45,000 persons of the timeslot lead (7.413 million vs. 7.458 million). It also maintains 100% versus where 'Med' concluded last season through the May sweep (1.0 vs. 1.0 from May 8-May 22).

Between now and October 26th, head to the waterfront as Morgan's Pier transforms into an autumn wonderland - complete with twinkling lights, fall decor, seasonal beers, fall cocktails, weekly special events and a new menu by Chef Jon Adair. New for this year, Morgan's will add on additional days of operation, offering al fresco dining and drinking five days a week, from Wednesday to Sunday. Also, new this year, Morgan's will be rain or shine as new clear walls have been installed that can roll away or roll out based on the weather of the day.

OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network announced today it has renewed for a fifth season Ava DuVernay's critically acclaimed drama series “Queen Sugar” to air in 2020. Produced by Warner Horizon Scripted Television, “Queen Sugar” has been lauded for its powerful portrayal of an African-American family in the Deep South and for DuVernay's initiative since the series' inception to hire an inclusive crew and all-female directing team, many of whom were first time TV directors. Current season four showrunner Anthony Sparks returns for the fifth season.

Currently Artistic Director of Raylynmor Opera in Keene, New Hampshire, a position he will retain, Robinson is an experienced opera administrator, director, and singer.
