Singer/Songwriter/Producer Joseph Lorenzo has released a new version of 'Mr. Melody', the 1976 hit by Natalie Cole for St. Patrick's Day. It is also the 100th anniversary of her Dad, Nat King Cole, who was born on March 17, 1919.

Ryan of Chicago, and actor, producer, and humanitarian Forest Whitaker, the recipients of the 2019 Kennedy Center Award for the Human Spirit. The evening features an intimate dinner and awards presentation, a Gala Performance by Tony Award-winning icon Idina Menzel, and an after-party. Carol Melton and Jodie W. McLean are the co-chairs of the 2019 Kennedy Center Gala. 42nd Freihofer's Saratoga Jazz Festival Announces 2019 Lineup

The 2019 Freihofer's Saratoga Jazz Festival features an extraordinary roster of twenty-two musical groups, highlighted by the festival debut of Grammy award winning artist Norah Jones, and the return of jazz legend George Benson and festival favorite Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue. Back by popular demand is also Los Van Van 50th Anniversary, Django Festival All-Stars with Edmar Castañeda and Grace Kelly, Joshua Redman Quartet, and James Carter Organ Trio. Fifteen emerging artists making their Saratoga debuts include Kandace Springs, Donna Grantis, Joey DeFrancesco Trio, Mercy Project which features Jon Cowherd, Brian Blade, John Patitucci, and Steve Cardenas, Antonio Sanchez & Migration, and Cha Wa. The festival will also feature a record number of groups led by women artists, highlighted by Allison Miller, Veronica Swift, Ruthie Foster and Youn Sun Nah.

Edward R. Matthews, CEO of ADAPT Community Network, announced its 2019 ADAPT Leadership Awards Gala to take place on Thursday, March 14th, at Cipriani 42nd Street in New York City. The event will be hosted by Cara Buono, co‐star of the hit Netflix series Stranger Things, and Emmy‐ nominee for her role on Mad Men. The awards honor the accomplishments of extraordinary individuals and corporations who have made an impact on people with disabilities and have inspired others through their professional and charitable endeavors. The gala benefits the important ongoing programs and services of ADAPT Community Network. This year's honorees will be announced next month.

This year, the 50th anniversary of its founding in 1968, we are pleased to present to fellow New Yorkers an evening of music, TOTALLY TOSHIKO, in Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall on November 27, 2018 at 8:00 PM, celebrating beloved jazz trailblazer, pioneer composer, arranger, big-band leader, and pianist Toshiko Akiyoshi in her 88th year, a milestone in time (called beiju [pronounced bay-joo] in Japan) that calls for honoring the creative achievements of one who has reached that age.

The Colony Theatre in Burbank has announced a live comedy production that parodies the 1976-1981 television series Charlie's Angels. Three of LA's favorite drag queens star in the title roles - Kay Sedia (Oscar Quintero), Chita Parol (Ray Garcia), and Frieda Laye (Danny Casillas). This special episode is one hurricane of a case! After Hula dancers have gone missing from Waikiki's hottest night club The Hula Ho, the girls go undercover in grass skirts, coconut bikinis, and cha-cha pumps to solve the case.

The Hot Springs Documentary Film Festival (HSDFF), presented by Mountain Valley Spring Water, announced today that actress and HSDFF Honorary Chair Missi Pyle and Sally Jo Fifer, producer and CEO of ITVS and recipient of the 2018 “HSDFF Impact Award” will participate in a panel titled “State of the Union: A Symposium on Women in the Industry” this Saturday, October 27th at 10:30am CT at the historic Arlington Resort Hotel and Spa in Hot Springs, AR.
