The gifts have been opened, the feasts have been eaten and the merriment has been had. As the holiday season comes to a close and we countdown the final days of the year, we're getting ready to ring in 2019 by looking back. Many theatres will get marquee makeovers in the coming weeks, as a handful of shows prepare to take their final bows. Before that happens, peek back on all of the Broadway marquees of 2018 below!

Arena Stage Artistic Director Molly Smith's gift to Baltimore/Washington theater patrons this season is just plain delightful.

Walnut Street Theatre continues its landmark 210th season with the uproarious Ken Ludwig's A COMEDY OF TENORS. Directed by and starring Frank Ferrante, this over-top-top comedy from Tony Winner Ken Ludwig begins previews on January 15th, opens on January 23rd, and runs through March 3rd on the Walnut's Mainstage.

When I heard about the topic of the new Baltimore Center Stage production of A WONDER IN MY SOUL, I initially thought it would be a female version of the film 'Barber Shop' Well, let me tell you, it is NOT!!!!

 Steppenwolf Theatre Company presents the world premiere production of La Ruta by acclaimed Chicago playwright Isaac Gomez, directed by ensemble member Sandra Marquez and featuring ensemble member Karen Rodriguez along with an eight-member all female Latinx cast. Inspired by the lives of Mexican women who live, work-and disappear-along a Ciudad Juarez bus route, La Ruta weaves live music through a story of resilience in the wake of loss.

The Cher Show is heating up the stage in these winter months bringing the story of one of music's biggest icons to life nightly. Now the diva reveals she's got even more in the works as she looks back at her epic career. Get ready to read the story of her life, then catch it on the big screen!

Legendary costume designer BOB MACKIE, who just received unanimous rave reviews for his costume design for Broadway's newest hit, THE CHER SHOW, and entrepreneur/philanthropist, REGINALD ("REGGIE") VAN LEE will be honored at TDF's 2019 Gala on Monday, March 11 at Manhattan's historic Gotham Hall (1356 Broadway @ 36th Street, NYC).

The New Group is currently presenting Clueless, the Musical by Amy Heckerling in a world premiere production with choreography by Kelly Devine, directed by Kristin Hanggi. The show opens tonight! Let's see what the critics had to say!
