In response to Covid to provide some money to NYC’s many out-of-work or underemployed string musicians, Manny Alvarez launched a “Kolstein Performance Showcase” in collaboration with the Essex House on Central Park South/7th.  There is an ongoing schedule every Friday evening from 7-8 PM.

Theatre Royal Stratford East today announces its 2022/23 season. The season includes Anthony Neilson's poignant and comical delve into the nature of mental illness, The Wonderful World of Dissocia, directed by Emma Baggott, which opens in September 2022.

Shakespeare’s Globe has announced the cast and company for Much Ado About Nothing, directed by Lucy Bailey. This will be performed by the Globe Ensemble who will be returning for The Tempest on 22 July.

An extension to booking has been announced for the Olivier award-winning production of Mary Poppins with tickets now on sale until 10 July 2022 at the Prince Edward Theatre. 

New England Conservatory has announced their spring 2022 Season. While on Andy Cohen's Sirius XM Radio show, Nicole Kidman was asked if she would ever perform in a Broadway musical. FRIGID New York will present the 13th Annual The Fire This Time Festival at The Kraine Theater (85 East 4th Street between 2nd Avenue and Bowery), January 17-February 6, 2022. Performances will also be available to livestream from home.
