First staged at the foot of a staircase to an audience of only ten people, Tr ll combines storytelling, projection, and puppetry in a lo-fi wi-fi fable about things that go bump in the night. It will play at The Blue Room Theatre between Jan 29 and Feb 9 as part of Summer Nights FRINGE WORLD 2019.

This year, a living legend of musical theatre turns 90: Lyricist-bookwriter Tom Jones (who also, under a stage name) appeared in the original company of his most famous and wildly successful record-breaking musical, The Fantasticks. His collaborator, composer Harvey Schmidt, just recently passed away. The production's record-breaking run closed, on January 13, 2002, after 17,162 performances. Their shows also include 110 in the Shade, I Do! I Do!, Philemon, Celebration and many more. And celebration is what it's about when Broadway veterans Carole Demas, who originated the role of Sandy in Grease, and Sarah Rice, who originated the role of Johanna in Sweeney Todd, return to celebrate Jones & Schmidt. Demas and Rice have based the show on their 50 years of work and personal relationships with Tom and Harvey. With very special guest Broadway's Hal Robinson who is also a Fantasticks alumni.

On the first Monday of most months between October 2018 and May 2019, the series will present audiences with an opportunity to gather and hear in-progress works from writers leading the literary avant-garde. Starring Julie Andrews and Dick Van Dyke, the film combined live action animation with songs written and composed by the Sherman Brothers. Mary Poppins, played by Julie Andrews in her feature film debut, also produced one of film's most memorable songs of all time. There isn't anyone who has seen the Disney classic that can't walk away to whistle or sing those famous lyrics - “Just a Spoonful of Sugar Helps the Medicine Go Down…”

ZHONG-JING FANG, soloist of American Ballet Theatre, PAOLA HARTLEY, former principal dancer of Ballet Arizona, KARL CONDON, former principal dancer of the Boston Ballet, and ILYA KOZADAYEV, former soloist of the Houston Ballet will be on the Shreveport Dance Academy's Summer Intensive to be held in Shreveport, Louisiana.   Zhong-Jing Fang and Paola Hartley will be on the faculty from July 23-27, 2018, and Karl Condon and  Ilya Kozadayev will be on the faculty from July 30-August 3, 2018.
