Paines Plough have today announced casting for the transfer of Sam Steiner's YOU STUPID DARKNESS! to Southwark Playhouse, a co-production with Theatre Royal Plymouth. An urgent play about the struggle for optimism and community amid the chaos of a collapsing world, the production is directed by former Paines Plough co-Artistic Director James Grieve and the cast includes: Andrew Finnigan; Jenni Maitland; Lydia Larson; Andy Rush. The show opened at Theatre Royal Plymouth earlier this year and will run at Southwark Playhouse from 16 January - 22 February with a Press Night on Monday 20 January.

Stunning new images of the Boulevard theatre have today been released days after the theatre opened its doors to the public for the first time for the London premiere of Dave Malloy's Ghost Quartet, directed by Bill Buckhurst. Press night for Ghost Quartet is 31 October. The restaurant is also now open from 8am daily. Following a successful World Premiere run at The Marsh Berkeley, That Don Reed Show transferred to The Marsh San Francisco in September 2019. Saturday Night Live said Don was a?oetoo white,a?? while the network executive for In Living Color said he wasn't a?oeblack enough.a?? So Don created That Don Reed Showa?"his own sketch variety showa?"bringing Bay Area audiences an evening of irreverent sketches, edgy stand-up, music, and moving drama. With a little bit of improvisation and constantly evolving material, no two shows are exactly alike. Special themed and holiday performances will be offered throughout the run.
