While having the male characters played by women perhaps takes away from the realism of the show, the all-female cast makes a powerful statement. To have a group of women telling this story now shows how far we have come from the Suffragist movement. There may still be fights to win, but the casting of the show alone tells how much progress has been made. You absolutely do not want to miss the opportunity to see “Suffs” in DC while you can.
