The new musical Goddess can currently be seen in its New York premiere production at the Public Theater on Lafayette Street. Directed by the Public’s associate artistic director and resident director Saheem Ali, who is currently Tony Award-nominated for directing Buena Vista Social Club, Goddess is playing at the Public’s largest space by capacity, the Newman Theatre.

Freeform’s “30 Days of Disney” will make a splash this Summer with themed weeks full of feel-good favorites and nostalgic classics. Highlights include the world television premieres of Disney Pixar’s “Elemental” and Walt Disney Animation Studios’ “Strange World.'

Matthew, Mark, Luke and John wrote four differing gospels and created Christianity. These four evangelists actually never met, but they do--as members of a comedic literary synod --in 'Four Evangelists Walk into a Fog' by Douglas Lackey. The results are hilarious and profound. Theater for the New City (TNC), which has been Lackey's theatrical home since 2003, will present the work's premiere run May 1 to 18, directed by Mark Harborth.

“30 Days of Disney” will return in November of 2024 with themed weeks that make it easy to kick back and enjoy the magic of Disney with friends and family. The programming event features a lineup of beloved films from the entire Walt Disney catalog, including Disney Animated classics, Disney-Pixar films, and modern fan favorites. Laguna Playhouse and Lythgoe Family Productions have announced that Sally Struthers will star as “Madame Gothel” in the world premiere of RAPUNZEL AND HER HOLIDAY WISH, written by Kris Lythgoe, directed by Becky Lythgoe, supervising director is Bonnie Lythgoe, choreography by Becca Sweitzer and musical direction by Andy Street.

The Menier Chocolate Factory has announced full casting for the revival of Jerry Herman’s JERRY’S GIRLS. Hannah Chissick directs Cassidy Janson, Lyn Paul and Julie Yammanee. 

A major revival of Jerry Herman's Jerry's Girls will open at The Menier Chocolate Factory next month. Directed by Hannah Chissick, with choreography by Matt Cole, musical supervision and arrangements by Sarah Travis, and an all-female band, this new production opens on 22 May.

Co-authored by Conor Duffy and Jake Broder, Max & Willy’s Last Laugh is based on the true story of entertainers Max Ehrlich and Willy Rosen, who for 18 months performed the funniest cabaret in Europe to ensure their safety at the Westerbork Transit Camp during World War II.
