Performances begin tomorrow, Wednesday, June 1 for the Broadway musical Sister Act at Paper Mill Playhouse. Sister Act features music by Alan Menken, lyrics by Glenn Slater, book by Cheri Steinkellner and Bill Steinkellner, and additional book material by Douglas Carter Beane.

The students of the 2022 Opera Unlimited Summer Opera Camp will present full-staged and costumed productions of two operettas, Hans Kràsa's Brundibár, and Gilbert & Sullivan's Trial by Jury, on July 8 and 9, 2022, 7:00pm, at the Sandia Presbyterian Church on Paseo del Norte in Albuquerque.

Arizona Opera announced casting today for their vibrant 2022/23 Season, which will feature an exciting array of productions, ranging from beloved classics to new works, including a return to five in-theater shows in both Phoenix and Tucson.

The Juilliard School will hold its 117th commencement ceremony on May 20, 2022, at 10:30am. The ceremony will be held outdoors on the Lincoln Center campus in Damrosch Park, presided over by Juilliard President Damian Woetzel. Olney Theatre Center will receive an $11 million grant from the State of Maryland for its “Staging the Future” capital campaign which will bring major renovations and enhancements to the official “State Summer Theatre of Maryland.”

Produced by Co-founder Kristen Dickerson and directed by Savannah Kirkdoffer, this abbreviated version of the classic hits all the highlights of the production without overextending the young performers. Musicals at Richter (MAR), celebrating its 38th season as the longest-running outdoor theater in Connecticut, has announced 2022 season auditions for its upcoming productions of 'In the Heights' and 'The Sound of Music.' Auditions will be held Monday through Wednesday, April 18-20 and Friday, April 22 at the Richter House Arts Center.
