The Times Square Church, located on 51st Street between Broadway and 8th Avenue, is an extremely storied New York City spot. While it may not be apparent to those who unknowingly pass by the church, the venue across from the Gershwin’s stage door was once a glorious Broadway theater… and could potentially be one again someday.

Emerging Artists Theatre will present Hope, a contemporary ballet piece choreographed and performed by Leticia Cirne. The production takes place on Sun Sep 14, 2025, at 5:00 PM is part of the 2025 Fall Spark Theatre Festival NYC.

A juke box musical consists of pre-existing songs which are melded into a script to tell a story.  The songs, in contrast to lyrics and music, which are specifically integrated into a traditional musical’s story, don’t always smoothly transition into the juke box tale.
