Harlem Stage has announced its 40th Anniversary Season, a celebration of the institution that has, since its founding, provided an indispensable platform to both emerging and established artists of color working in an array of forms.

BroadStage will present the world premiere of Los Angeles Ballet's Memoryhouse, the first full-length ballet by Melissa Barak as Los Angeles Ballet's new Artistic Director. The ballet will run June 15-17, 2023 at 7:30pm at the Eli and Edythe Broad Stage.

San Francisco's 42nd Street Moon (Daniel Thomas, Executive Artistic Director) has announced the full cast and creative team for the 3-Time Tony Award-winning musical SHE LOVES ME, which features music by Jerry Bock, lyrics by Sheldon Harnick, and a book by Joe Masteroff. SHE LOVES ME is based on a play by Miklos Laszlo.

Playwright-Director Liila Jokelin's Action Hero is an excellent take on modern topics that young people and artists have to think about: if woman likes to be spanked, is it okay to use that on screen? Is it okay to lie a little just to make your co-workers a little more excited? Men still like boobs even though you'd free the nipple at the beach's rocks, ay?
